Funeral Celebrancy and/or Support

As a celebrant, I craft and deliver meaningful funeral and memorial services that reflect the essence of the person being honoured. Each service—whether spiritual, non-religious, or somewhere in between—is thoughtfully shaped to reflect their unique light, story, and legacy.

In addition to celebrant services, I offer compassionate support to families in other important ways. This includes assisting with the writing or refining of eulogies when words feel difficult to find, and creating End of Life Celebration Videos or photo tributes that bring together cherished memories through images, music, and storytelling.

These offerings are designed to ease the emotional burden on families while ensuring their loved one is honoured with care, dignity, and authenticity. Whether guiding the ceremony, helping shape meaningful words, or creating visual tributes, my role is to support families in creating a farewell that feels personal, respectful, and true.

What Is Funeral Celebrancy?

Funeral celebrancy is about creating a ceremony that genuinely reflects the life, values, and spirit of the person being honoured. I work closely with individuals and families—whether guided by the wishes of the person nearing end-of-life or co-created with family after a loss, each ceremony is thoughtfully shaped to reflect their unique story and legacy.

    • You share favorite poems, songs, photographs, or symbolic items that capture their essence.
  2. Design & Planning

    • Provide guidance on selecting meaningful readings, choosing appropriate music, and involving family members or close friends.
  3. Writing & Rehearsal
    • Create a written ceremony script that we review together—ensuring tone, length, and content resonate with your wishes.
    • Offer a brief rehearsal if desired, helping speakers feel comfortable with their roles and timing.
  4. Day-of Coordination
    • Arrive early to liaise with funeral directors, musicians, florists, or venue staff.
