Every August, Australians are invited to pause, reflect, and speak more openly about a topic we often avoid—death.
But here at Recruited by Universe, we believe these conversations aren’t really about dying…
They’re about living more fully, more consciously, and more connected to the people we love and the legacy we leave behind.
✨ Dying to Know Day is a national campaign that encourages all of us to ask the question:
If nobody knows your wishes, how can they honour your life?
Whether you’re 21 or 81, having clear, compassionate conversations about what matters at the end of life is an act of empowerment. It’s a sacred gift you give your future self—and your loved ones.
This is a time to explore:
🌿 What do I want my final chapter to look like?
🕊️ Who do I trust to speak for me if I can’t speak for myself?
📜 Do I have an Advanced Care Directive or a Will in place?
💬 Have I shared my wishes with those who need to know?
As an End-of-Life Doula, Celebrant and Healing Facilitator, I’ve seen how beautiful—and healing—these conversations can be when they’re led with intention, care, and openness.
So this August, let’s break the silence.
Let’s replace fear with curiosity.
Let’s shift the narrative from morbid to meaningful.
Because you were recruited by the Universe for a reason. And your final story deserves to be written with heart, presence, and purpose.
🌸 If you’re ready to explore your own end-of-life wishes, or need support facilitating a conversation with your loved ones, I’m here to help.
