End‐of‐Life Doula Support
Providing non-medical guidance for individuals and families as they journey through end-of-life. With emotional, spiritual, and practical support, I help cultivate a sense of peace, clarity, and sacred connection during this deeply personal time.

What Is End‐of‐Life Doula Support?
End‐of‐life doula support is a compassionate, non‐medical service that honors each person’s unique journey. Rather than clinical care, I focus on creating a calm, supportive environment where you and your loved ones feel heard, understood, and guided. My goal is to walk alongside you, offering practical resources and emotional comfort so you can spend more of your time focusing on meaningful moments.

Emotional Guidance
Facing the end of life often brings feelings of anxiety, grief, or uncertainty. I provide:

  • Listening and Presence: A safe, nonjudgmental space for sharing fears, regrets, or hopes.
  • Grief Counseling: Gentle assistance in processing anticipatory grief for both the individual and their family.
  • Legacy Projects: Helping create memory books or recordings that honor life’s milestones and preserve personal stories.

Spiritual Support
Whether or not you follow a specific faith tradition, many people find comfort in exploring life’s deeper meaning. My spiritual support includes:

  • Personalized Rituals: Collaborating on meaningful ceremonies—prayer, poetry readings, or meditative practices.
  • Mindful Practices: Guided breathing, gentle meditation, or visualization techniques to ease mental distress.
  • Sacred Space: Suggestions for creating a peaceful environment—lighting candles, arranging personal mementos, or setting up a “memory table.”

Practical Assistance
End‐of‐life planning involves many logistical details that can feel overwhelming. I can help with:

  • Advance Care Planning: Clarifying wishes around medical directives, funeral preferences, and legal documents.
  • Resource Coordination: Referrals to hospice agencies, palliative‐care nurses, spiritual counselors, or volunteer networks.
  • Day‐to‐Day Support: Light household tasks (making tea, arranging flowers), coordinating family visits, or simply ensuring the room feels calm and safe.

Why Choose Me?

  • Open-Hearted Support: I’m here to listen and walk with you—your choices are yours, and I honour them fully.
  • Tailored Approach: Every individual and family is different—together, we’ll customize support to match your needs.
  • Continuous Availability: From the first consultation until after passing, I remain a steady presence—offering check‐ins, grief follow‐up, and resources for ongoing healing.

How to Begin

  1. Initial Consultation
    • A 30‐minute phone or video call to discuss your situation, wishes, and questions. No charge.
  2. Care Plan Development
    • We outline your priorities—emotional check‐ins, spiritual practices, or practical tasks—and set a schedule for visits or calls.
  3. Ongoing Support
    • Regular in‐person or remote sessions (depending on needs), plus 24/7 phone access for urgent concerns.
  4. Family Debrief & Follow‐Up
    • After passing, I offer a grief debrief for loved ones and can share any legacy materials we’ve created together.
